Eyelashes

An eyelash is simply one of the hairs that grow around the eyelid. The eyelashes protect one's eyes from dirt and debris that would otherwise enter one's eyes.



In the field of cosmetics, long eyelashes have long been considered a symbol of feminity and women of all cultures have sought to lengthen and increase the volume of their eyelashes through countless means.

Not only are longer lashes a symbol of beauty on their own, they also give off the illusion of much larger and wider eyes.
