1)
Eyelash transplants
This is a permanent method for lengthening your eyelash, but be warned, its terribly costly!
The cost of an eyelash transplant runs between $3000 to $5000SGD per eye.
A small cut is made at the back of the scalp to remove 30 or 40 hair follicles which are sewn one by one onto the eyelids, these newly transplanted eyelashes grow just like normal hair on the head and need to be trimmed regularly.
WARNING : Bruising will last for at least a week.
2) Fake Eyelashes
Fake Eyelashes are used by women all over the world. Although they are a hassle to put on, the results are instant.
These Instant Eyelashes have to be applied carefully and professionally, you do not want your eyelashes to be hanging from your eyelids halfway through a party!
Did you know?
While the chemicals and glue from using fake lashes do not cause any immediate harm, it is impossible to forsee what might happen in the long run, especially from incorrect use.
One must be aware of the different chemicals that one's eyes are exposed to when using fake lashes, and also be ware of any possible allergic reactions. While the adhesives do not usually cause too much physical discomfort, removing the fake lashes might cause the glue to take some of your natural lashes with it.
3)
Conditioning Gels
These are available as products by brands all around the world. While they are considerably easy to find in current times, it is once again important to note what ingredients are used. Ideally, only buy a product that has been clinically tested and proven(only a few have been !). A good eyelash conditioning gel allows your eyelashes to become thicker and longer, at the same time nourishing and moisturizing the lashes.
